FULL CIRCLE
I began my career as a visual artist over 30 years ago. After completing high school, I was given the opportunity to work as an apprentice in a graphic design studio. At that point, I had already been doing commercial illustration for three years.
Since then, I've worked as a Graphic Designer (digital and print), Senior Art Director, Freelance Illustrator, Retouching Specialist, and Senior Photographer. I have extensive experience in each of these disciplines.
For several years I limited my offerings to photography and retouching, only doing design work on pet projects for "grandfathered" clients.
Recently, I realized that my unique range of experience in these various roles in the visual communications industry set me apart from many of my peers and associates through a better understanding and ability to communicate with clients and collaborators.
Now, I'm allowing myself to continue working in these roles with a renewed sense of opportunity and enthusiasm.
